Explainer videos for AI startups

Short animated films that make an AI product easy to understand, for homepages, launches and ads.

Quick answer

Explainer videos for AI startups: animated films that show what your AI product does in 30 to 90 seconds. Examples include Browserbase, Lovable and Krater.

An AI product is hard to explain because the result is the product, and the result is often invisible: a task done in the background, an answer, an app that appears from a sentence. Visitors are also used to AI claims that sound the same, so a vague promise is ignored.

I build explainers that show one concrete input and one concrete result, name the job the product does instead of the model behind it, and keep the interface honest, stylised but never invented. My portfolio includes explainers for Browserbase (cloud browsers for AI agents), Lovable (an AI app builder) and Krater AI (an all-in-one AI workspace), plus ScamRadar, a scam-detection tool.

AI products also change fast. I build the video as separate scenes, so when a feature name or screen changes, one scene can be updated without remaking the whole film.

Who it is for

  • AI and machine-learning startups launching a product or a major feature
  • Developer-tool and API companies that need a plain-language homepage video
  • Founders updating a demo that no longer matches the product

What is included

  • Script and storyboard help in plain language
  • Interface and result animation in your brand style
  • Voice-over sync, music and sound design
  • Cutdowns for ads and social (16:9, 9:16, 1:1)

How it works

Step 1

Brief

Send the product, the audience and any screens, docs or a script.

Step 2

Storyboard

I plan each scene and the one idea it carries. You approve before animation.

Step 3

Animate

Interface, graphics and type animated, then sound added.

Step 4

Deliver

Final files plus shorter cutdowns if you want them.

Questions

Between 30 and 90 seconds works for most homepages. Ads and social need 15 to 30 second cutdowns, which I can make from the same project.

Yes. I define each technical term once on screen in plain words and build the story around the problem the product solves.

Not unless you want it. The motion graphics are built by hand in After Effects. If you want AI-generated scenes or avatars, I label them as AI.

Yes. Tell me before you share anything and I will sign a short NDA and keep the files private.
